Seeking a hardware product designer to create 3D models, CAD drawings, and concept renders for a next-generation healthcare kiosk.
Responsibilities
- Design the exterior form factor of a medical kiosk (screen housing, scanner drawer, lockable wheels, branding space).
- Ensure ergonomics: comfortable screen angle, patient accessibility, easy scanner use, and maintenance.
- Incorporate practical hardware constraints: ventilation, cabling, ports, lighting, mic/speaker, and sensor placement.
- Deliver 3D renders (photorealistic) and CAD files ready for prototyping/manufacturing.
- Collaborate on material choices and assembly feasibility.
- Design with hospital usability in mind: compact footprint, smooth edges, easy-to-clean surfaces.
Requirements
- Strong background in industrial/product design for kiosks, consumer electronics, or medical devices.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, etc.).
- Ability to produce high-quality renders (KeyShot, Blender, or similar).
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Portfolio showcasing hardware/kiosk/medical product designs.
Key Skills
- Strong background in industrial/product design for kiosks, consumer electronics, or medical devices.
