As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define user needs and deliver polished designs. You will influence product surfaces and connect Samsung’s technology into seamless experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design, product management, and engineering teams to frame user needs and behaviors, define optimized user flows, and refine designs before launch
- Shape and communicate the user experience vision for projects across health, care, food and nutrition, and connected home. Work on initiatives from start to finish, participating in design sprints, content mapping, sketching, wireframing, and prototyping at both high and low fidelity
- Leverage insights from user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and inform product design
- Drive customer focus by collaborating on user research. Stay close to insights and data to understand the impact of the team’s work and help make informed design decisions
- Use an agile, iterative design approach in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to pivots, shifting priorities, and evolving timelines while keeping a user-centered lens
- Apply systems thinking to contribute to the evolution of our design system and visual language, ensuring cohesive user experiences aligned with global best practices and Samsung One UI principles
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a design field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Design role
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, After Effects, etc
- Portfolio showcasing examples of your work (including process such as research, ideation, and Figma files)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
