Design iOS, Android, and Apple Watch applications while collaborating with founders, engineers, and customers. Solve complex design problems and iterate on the design system.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with founders, engineers, PMs, and customers to help shape the future of Runna
- Solve complex design problems with simplicity and beautiful interfaces
- Prototype and use great storytelling to present the value of your ideas
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing that unlocks valuable feedback and insights to incorporate into your work
- Collaborate closely with engineers to handover design solutions beyond the flat visuals (interactions)
- Continue to iterate and help develop our new design system
- Influence and coach other designers in the team
Requirements
- Staff/Lead experience as a Product Designer including experience with mobile design
- A design generalist: visual craft, accessibility considerations, great interactions, deep understanding of UX
- Love speaking to users to understand their needs and solve problems effectively
- Understand how to use quantitative data to solve design problems
- Exceptional attention to detail that elevates designs to the next level (e.g. interaction, animations, haptics)
- Advanced Figma & prototyping skills (always learning and open to new tools)
- Comfortable taking initiative and collaborating in a fast-paced, iterative environment
