You will partner with PMs and engineers to design tools that enhance developer workflows. Your role includes taking end-to-end ownership of design work and participating in user research to improve the product.
Responsibilities
- Partner with PMs and engineers to understand how developers work
- Design experiences that bring value quickly from early ideas and prototypes to polished workflows and shipped features
- Work closely with other designers across Developer Experience to ensure consistency and scalability across products
- Contribute to and elevate the quality of visual and interaction design in the product
- Participate in user research, usability testing, and customer feedback sessions to continuously improve the product
- Communicate design decisions clearly across design, product, and engineering stakeholders
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally working on complex SaaS or developer tools
- Comfortable tackling technical domains and simplifying complex problems into clear, usable solutions
- Fluent in modern design tools and systems
- Thrive in cross-functional collaboration and influence product strategy with design insights
- Curious, proactive, and motivated by building products that improve developers’ day-to-day workflows
- Experience designing for developer platforms, CI/CD tools, or test management systems (plus)
