As a UX Writer, you will shape user experiences through clear and concise language. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft copy that guides and informs users at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
- Write clear and concise user-facing microcopy across the product, including interface elements like buttons, labels, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding content.
- Collaborate with squad leads, product managers, designers, engineers, and legal/compliance to ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with BigPayโs tone of voice.
- Maintain and evolve BigPayโs tone of voice and content style guide, ensuring all communication aligns with our customer principles and delivers a consistent, human-centered experience.
- Collaborate on usability testing to fine-tune copy for clarity, tone, and ease of understanding.
- Understand our users through data, research, and feedbackโand be their voice in every content decision.
Requirements
- 2โ4 years of experience as a UX writer (preferably in fintech, tech, or digital products).
- Excellent command of English, with an eye for clarity, tone, and usability.
- Portfolio of UX writing samples, showing how your words improved user experience.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of design thinking, usability and user experience best practices.
- Empathy for users and a drive to make digital experiences accessible and intuitive.
- Familiarity with UX best practices, design tools (like Figma), and agile environments.
