The UX Writer will advocate for User Experience functions essential to the product lifecycle and drive the development of UX writing and content design solutions to user, product, and business problems. They will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop a cohesive product narrative and improve UX writing processes across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Understand and advocate for User Experience (UX) functions essential to the product lifecycle
- Drive the development of UX writing and content design solutions to user, product and business problems
- Build alignment by collaborating with product managers, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, legal, engineering) to develop a product narrative, goals or missions
- Lead the establishment and improvement of UX writing and content design processes, systems, frameworks or patterns across multiple teams or products
- Influence the development of priorities across projects to balance efforts in alignment with project goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or a related content strategy project
- Experience with UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other related link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)
Key Skills
- Experience in creating information architecture patterns in the privacy or financial environment
- Experience with identity verification or collecting information for government compliance from people or organizations
- Experience in designing and shipping digital products including enterprise or consumer users
- Knowledge of writing rules and mechanics, and how to write for regulated industries
- Excellent conversational and presentation skills, including developing presentations
- Excellent thinking skills with the ability to provide solutions
