As a UI Designer, you will concept, create, maintain, and develop user interfaces while defining the customer journey. You will solve usability and experience challenges for government and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
- Concepting, creating, maintaining, and developing user interfaces
- Defining the customer journey
- Solving usability and experience challenges for government and commercial customers
- Taking directions from UI/UX Design Leads to create stunning, intuitive interface concepts and designs
- Solving unique problems in a visual creative way
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience working in Art and Design, UI/UX, computer animation, psychology and human factors, or related field
- Ability to communicate across departments and teams
- Be a great team player, experience in working with agile teams
- Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Unreal or Unity Game Engine
- Experience of 4+ with Adobe Creative Cloud software suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects skills are a must have skill)
- Demonstrable UI design skills across various platforms
- Ability to craft design documentation for developers and designers alike
- Ability to incorporate feedback and take direction well
- Competence in basic project management and task breakdowns
- The ability to undertake and deliver to project deadlines
- Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating current and previous UI work
Key Skills
- Experience with mobile application design, VR/XR, and web development pipelines
- Experience and demonstrative of creating game HUDs, UI design and UI graphics
- Experience with Lottie, Rive or After Effects
- Rapid prototyping capabilities
