Sr. UX UI Designer

Akakçe is hiring a Sr. UX UI Designer to join their team, responsible for high-impact projects and creating seamless experiences for visitors on their web and mobile platform.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the creation of designs suitable for the user experience of mobile and web products developed within Akakçe
• To develop aesthetic, meaningful, human-oriented designs that both meet user needs and effectively present the function and brand identity of the product
• Developing effective solutions for user interface problems
• Contributing to all stages of our product development cycle (analysis, ideation, design, implementation, user testing)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Visual Design, Communication Design and related field
• Advanced knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Preferably knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• +3 years experience in the complete life cycle - successfully delivering, mobile or software apps
• Knowledge of UX perspective, user-centered approach, design system process and design thinking principles
• Knowledge of interaction design, user-centered design processes, UX principles and techniques
• Ability to prototype
• Knowledge of IOS & Android latest design guidelines and web, mobile trends/technologies
• Worked with multiple platforms or knowledge about compatibility are aware of cross-device compatibility issues
• Extreme attention to detail and consistency, passion for pixel perfection
• Committed to meeting deadlines and skilled at handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable giving and receiving critical design feedback, result-oriented attitude and analytical mind
• Strong conceptual and visual skills
• Good command of English language
• Having strong communication skills and being a good team player
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating experience designing user interfaces and experiences
• Worked with project management tool and able to use effectively (JIRA, etc.)
