The Graphic Designer will lead the conceptualization of campaigns and digital solutions, ensuring effective communication through visual elements. They will collaborate with various teams to enhance the quality and productivity of projects while managing deliverables and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Creative Execution & Conceptualization: Take the lead in conceptualizing a campaign, site or other digital solution.
- Establish visual style and user experiences that will effectively communicate with target and fulfill project objectives.
- Be responsible for the proper placement, context and meaning of every visual element within a creative assignment.
- Assist CDs, PMs, and Producers in commissioning and managing outside illustrators, photographers, comp artists, directors, talent, etc.
- Assist creative lead in presenting work to client.
- Participate in brainstorms as required.
- Assist in developing concepts and presentation materials for business development projects.
- Assist or stand in for CD in presenting work to client.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate and communicate regularly with Client Service counterparts.
- Collaborate with other creative staff to share learning and experience and to establish initiatives that will improve Ogilvy's creative product.
- Partner with Account, Media, Project Management and Production counterparts to enhance quality, productivity, and profitability of the group's work.
- Show initiative in growing allocated tasks/campaigns beyond what's expected.
- Be in touch with both the "big picture" and the nitty-gritty details of a project or campaign.
- Work daily with the Project Manager to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within budget.
- Proactively seek approvals from CD (as required on a project-by-project basis) on all work before delivery to Account or Client.
- Stay current with industry/advertising trends, and apply them strategically.
- Contribute to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.
- Be respectful of others and enjoyable to work with.

Requirements
- Degree from a respected advertising/design program.
- Proven highly versatile creative concepting, design, and art direction skills.
- Exceptional portfolio necessary.
- Well-versed in the history of design, art direction, and advertising.
- Passion to eat, sleep and breathe all things advertising.
