Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications while ensuring a modern and consistent visual identity. Collaborate with UX designers and developers to create user-centered designs that meet business and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and modern aesthetics
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and research insights into high-fidelity designs
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG, inclusive design principles)
- Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Conduct design reviews, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions
- Stay current with UI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Contribute to building a strong design culture within the organisation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI Designer or in a similar design role
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, grid systems, and visual hierarchy
- Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first platforms
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based approaches
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with functionality
