The UX Designer II will design user experiences from research to prototyping and testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet business requirements. They will advocate for user needs and continuously improve the overall UX through user feedback and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design user experiences, from research and strategy to prototyping and testing.
- Conduct in-depth user research through methods like interviews, usability testing, and analytics to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
- Create detailed user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure designs meet business requirements and technical feasibility.
- Champion a user-centered design approach throughout the organization and advocate for the needs of users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and design tools, and apply innovative solutions to complex design problems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the overall UX of products and services through ongoing user feedback and performance analysis.
- Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
