GoFundMe is hiring a Staff Product Designer to help define the experience strategy and drive design decisions for their most critical initiatives in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Help define the experience strategy for the product
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions
- Facilitate design workshops with cross-functional team members
- Create and deliver high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and specifications
- Contribute to and help evolve the Heart design system
- Collaborate with the product team to turn conceptual ideas into usable features
- Participate in group design critiques
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer working in-house or at an agency
- Experience designing for CRMs and SaaS products
- Expert understanding of the formal elements of design
- Great aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
- End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and native apps
- Problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathetic and user-centered approach to design
- Experience working with a lean team of Engineers, Product Managers, and User Researchers
