Staff Product Designer

GoFundMe is hiring a Staff Product Designer to help define the experience strategy and drive design decisions for their most critical initiatives in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Help define the experience strategy for the product
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions
• Facilitate design workshops with cross-functional team members
• Create and deliver high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and specifications
• Contribute to and help evolve the Heart design system
• Collaborate with the product team to turn conceptual ideas into usable features
• Participate in group design critiques

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer working in-house or at an agency
• Experience designing for CRMs and SaaS products
• Expert understanding of the formal elements of design
• Great aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
• End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and native apps
• Problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Empathetic and user-centered approach to design
• Experience working with a lean team of Engineers, Product Managers, and User Researchers
