Product Designer - UI/UX (Onsite | California, US)

Arcadian seeks a Product Designer (UI/UX) to influence the experience of their clients, Sony Pictures Entertainment, across TV, PlayStation, web, and touch devices.

Responsibilities

• Solve design challenges and produce delightful UX and UI solutions, ensuring usability, accessibility, and scalability
• Create design artifacts like user flows, wireframes, visual mocks, and prototypes from low to high-fidelity to communicate your ideas
• Prepare and deliver the designs, be able to support and evaluate solutions through production
• Work with existing design systems to create production-ready visual designs
• Communicate the rationale behind your proposed solutions to team members and stakeholders
• Handle several projects of various sizes and stages simultaneously
• Participate in usability testing to observe user interactions and gather feedback
• Assist in maintaining design documentation, user flows, and style guides
• Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project
• Work with content assets to help create in-app artwork

Requirements

• 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in the entertainment, video streaming, gaming, or similar spaces
• Ability to work across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
• Experience working with typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Working experience with Figma and Photoshop
• Ability to articulate design decisions, accept feedback, and align teams around a shared vision
• Off-shore design collaboration experience a plus
• Have an available online portfolio
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
