Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you will create and modify 2D label drawings and maps for new product development projects. You will collaborate with various teams to bring concepts into the 3D space for new products.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D label drawings to support new product development projects using Adobe Creative Suite software
- Create and modify 2D label maps to support new product development projects using Adobe Creative Suite software
- Maintain proper part revision status and assembly bill of materials in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- Ensure all Adobe best practices are followed for all parts, drawings, and assemblies
- Continuous support with our manufacturing plants with application of labels and consistency of label locations for various products
- Support the engineering team during prototype builds to understand how part design impacts the final label package for the product
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-year vocational-technical training degree or equivalent work experience in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop with 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design utilizing Adobe Creative Suite software
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management software (Teamcenter and/or Windchill preferred)
- Ability and desire to mentor designers and engineers that have limited experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
- Ability to interact with project managers, engineers, industrial designers, marketing, manufacturing, and others with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a various components with a variety of manufacturing methods including, but not limited to, plastic injection molding, stamped steel, and other metal fabricated parts such as weldments
- Basic understanding of outdoor power equipment and mechanical principles is a plus
Key Skills
- Advanced skill level in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management software (Teamcenter and/or Windchill preferred)
- Ability to mentor designers and engineers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various manufacturing methods
- Basic understanding of outdoor power equipment and mechanical principles
