The Graphic Designer will develop visual concepts that communicate ideas and enhance brand identity, designing layouts, graphics, and illustrations for digital and print media. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive visual assets while maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts that communicate ideas and enhance brand identity
- Design layouts, graphics, and illustrations for digital and print media
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive visual assets
- Maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms
- Prepare files for production, including print-ready formats and digital optimization
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies
- Revise designs based on feedback and ensure final deliverables meet quality standards
- Ensure accessibility and usability in visual content across platforms
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the DoD, Federal, and SLED proposal processes, including compliance with formatting standards, visual storytelling for technical content, and integration of graphics into proposal documents
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in visual design
- Experience in healthcare, defense, or emergency response sectors
- Relevant Certifications
- Portfolio demonstrating visual and technical excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years' of Logistics experience
Key Skills
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout design
- Experience with both print and digital production workflows
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communicator and team collaborator
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Flexible and open to evolving design trends and client needs
