The Designer at GeneDx supports the development of visual assets for marketing, communications, and brand campaigns. This role involves designing for various channels and ensuring all visual work is polished and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Design visual assets for a variety of channels, including web, email, social media, print, and events.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently across creative deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of final files for digital and print execution.
  • Work closely with copywriters, marketing team members, and fellow designers to execute campaigns.
  • Support the development and refinement of design templates and visual standards.
  • Participate in internal reviews, applying feedback with a learning mindset.
  • Manage multiple projects with guidance from senior team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Stay current with design trends and tools to support continuous growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of professional design experience, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color.
  • A portfolio demonstrating clean, thoughtful design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools a plus.
  • Willingness to take feedback and revise work with care.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Interest in working within and contributing to an evolving brand system.
