An experienced UX Designer to develop user interfaces for Amazon's security assessment platforms and automated evaluation systems, working remotely with travel.
Responsibilities
- Design user experiences, from research and strategy to prototyping and testing
- Conduct in-depth user research through methods like interviews, usability testing, and analytics to deeply understand user needs and pain points
- Create detailed user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure designs meet business requirements and technical feasibility
- Champion a user-centered design approach throughout the organization and advocate for the needs of users
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and design tools, and apply innovative solutions to complex design problems
- Continuously evaluate and improve the overall UX of products and services through ongoing user feedback and performance analysis
- Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
- Fluent in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience collaborating with security teams to design security tools
- Have strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web-based information architecture, and design
Key Skills

- The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market
