The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing marketing communications and generating content for digital channels. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure visual designs align with the overall marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Designing of marketing communications as well as content generation to be used across all digital channels
  • Be able to effectively visualise concepts (2+3D) and drive translation with design and Visual teams
  • Conceptualise & designing world class retail window and in-store spaces with our Visual teams
  • Design – build concepts through researching trends on colours, design, layout & typography to deliver on brand
  • Ensuring work is delivered on time
  • Custodian of the Brand CI – across all channels
  • Manage the creation of marketing material from concept and design to final artwork
  • Conceptualise and production of fresh ideas for online/digital material
  • Presenting designs, concepts to departments and incorporates their feedback into the final designs
  • Assist production process to ensure that the designs meet highest quality of print and digital standards
  • Collaborating with other departments: - working closely with other departments, such as creative manager, marketing managers, and product managers, to ensure the visual designs align with the overall marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 3-year qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Graphic Design
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a graphic designer in an advertising agency or retail marketing division.
  • Well-versed in digital (digital art direction experience is essential)
  • Experience with brand design and brand identity
  • A portfolio showcasing your work and experience
  • Understand printing, repro, photography & digital process
  • Efficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, Illustrator as well as Photoshop, and InDesign is essential, premier pro (Adobe) or after affects & Adobe suite would be beneficial. AI knowledge.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote etc.)
  • High level of creativity and can be innovative
