IBM HashiCorp is seeking a Product Designer to work on Vault, a multi-cloud security platform, focusing on designing workflows for secure applications and protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate tightly with designers, engineers, and product managers across our globally distributed team to act on high-priority roadmap initiatives.
- Create seamless experiences by delivering research plans, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to help communicate design directions to the team.
- Apply IBM HashiCorp’s Helios Design System and help elevate our design quality.
- Research and design medium-scoped projects from the roadmap.
- Build prototypes or partner with UI Engineers on implementation.
- Participate in design thinking workshops to generate ideas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Experience designing for complex technical experiences, especially for enterprise IT and security products.
- Comfortable working across a distributed remote-first team.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn the key workflows involved in IBM HashiCorp products (Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
- Value feedback and seeking ways to learn and grow as a designer.
- Problem solver, take ownership of your work, and focus on delivering impact.
