Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions. Drive UX design for the evolution of Google Photos backup, onboarding, and storage.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
- Articulate user journeys with scenarios, storyboards and presentations, mock-ups, detailed interaction specifications, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Partner with User Experience Researcher (UXR) on research hypothesis and participate in user research.
- Contribute to User Experience (UX) goal and strategy, generating buy-in and operationalizing the strategy across teams within the timeline as we deliver for launch and subsequent product iterations.
- Drive UX design for the evolution of Google Photos backup, onboarding and storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with interaction designing in product design or UX design for consumer-facing products.
- Experience in designing across multiple platforms (e.g., Android, iOS and web) including mobile apps, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mock-ups and prototypes.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other related link to your work in your resume.
- Experience with Figma and other related design tools.
- Experience with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate for product design strategy.
