Senior Product Designer at Garaje to conceptualize and design digital products, focusing on user-centered design principles and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize digital products following user-centered design principles and business needs
- Prototype products by developing interaction design phases: architecture, navigation, user flows, and interaction design
- Design, manage, and compose with design systems
- Employ user research techniques
- Propose new functionalities considering product purpose and user needs, focusing on usability principles
- Collaborate and understand with multidisciplinary teams
- Explain and defend design decisions to the team and client
- Identify and address product improvement and optimization needs
- Mentor less experienced profiles and potentially manage a team
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience in digital product design, preferably in design studios or consultancy
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience working on international projects
- Experience with main digital product design tools (Figma, Sketch, Axure, etc.)
- Experience working in agile environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing typography, color, layouts, and interaction design
