Part Time Graphic Designer

Assist with the production of graphic design content for events and weekly services, ensuring alignment with church branding standards. Manage multiple design projects, respond to requests for creative assets, and collaborate with various teams to support church initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed of current trends in visual design and identify opportunities for growth and innovation
• Maintain high standards of visual design across all projects
• Maintain current church branding standards across assigned Northwest design and communications projects
• Respond to requests for creative assets and publicity to support timely and effective promotion of related ministry events
• Organize and manage creative design projects, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Assist the communications team in preparing and executing graphic design initiatives for Sunday worship services
• Coordinate development of creative and promotional materials for special and church-wide events
• Produce design layouts for print publications, including booklets, mailers, brochures, and curriculum
• Produce graphics for campus signage (internal and external)
• Manage timelines and expectations for assigned design projects among staff
• Manage pre-production on assigned design projects outsourced for printing
• Work with communications team and vendors as needed to ensure outsourced creative projects are produced as intended
• Collaborate with video and social media teams to create visual elements supporting sermons, events, and church-wide initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field or 5 years professional experience
• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• A solid portfolio displaying excellent command of graphic design principles and visual problem-solving skills
• Affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality
