Design compelling visuals that support WeVote’s nonpartisan voter education and GOTV campaigns. Collaborate with team members to create graphics and templates that are clear, accessible, and on-brand across various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Concept and design social-first graphics, templates, and visuals that educate and inspire voter participation
- Translate campaign briefs and copy into engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X/Twitter
- Adapt designs for multiple formats, aspect ratios, and accessibility best practices
- Collaborate with copywriters, project managers, and analytics leads to ensure creative assets align with strategy and performance insights
- Maintain and evolve WeVote’s brand guidelines and design systems for consistency across social media
- Organize and version files for easy handoff and future use by the team
- Ensure all creative complies with nonpartisan 501(c)(3) guidelines and platform policies
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably with a focus on digital and social campaigns
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Canva or Figma a plus
- Strong understanding of social media formats, design trends, and accessibility best practices
- Ability to create simple motion assets (After Effects or equivalent) is a plus, but not required
- Strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a distributed, volunteer-based team
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables
- 2+ hours per week during our core team hours M–F 8 a.m. – 6 p.m
- You are currently located in the US
Key Skills
