The Graphic Designer will create and deliver high-quality, original design solutions that reflect strategic thinking and brand alignment. They will manage the full design process from concept to final execution for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver high-quality, original design solutions that reflect strategic thinking, creative excellence, and brand alignment
- Balance creativity, speed, and impact to produce innovative work that meets both aesthetic and business goals
- Conceptualize and execute original visual designs that require invention, imagination, or talent, including brand identity systems, advertising campaigns, and unique layout compositions
- Develop design solutions independently using judgment to select visual elements, styles, and approaches that align with strategic marketing or brand goals
- Independently manage the full design process, from concept to final execution, for assigned projects, exercising creative judgment with minimal supervision or prescribed procedures
- Embrace emerging tools and technologies, including AI-driven design solutions, to explore new creative possibilities and enhance efficiency in the design process
- Help define and elevate the creative direction across all Resident brands
- Develop visually cohesive designs that align with existing brand guidelines
- Interpret project briefs, generate fresh ideas, and support design needs across multiple teams
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate our creative output
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Growth, Retail, and Operations teams
- Effectively communicate design principles and provide guidance to non-designers
- Take concepts from rough sketches to polished, production-ready designs
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional design experience
- A portfolio that reflects versatility, originality, and strong creative thinking
- Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- A Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, preferred
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong grasp of typography and composition
- Confident working with stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful designs
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
