Planning Graphic Designer role to create graphics for print, social media, and multimedia in support of the Phoenix Convention Center & Venues.
Responsibilities
- Designs and prepares print, digital, social media, maps, displays, brochures and related marketing and communications materials
- Makes artist conceptions of projects using various types of media
- Advises on artistic and visual aid presentation of marketing materials
- Performs video and image editing
- Uses computer graphics and photo editing software to prepare comprehensive layouts various forms of media
- Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Requirements
- Associate's degree in computer graphics, art, or a related field
- Two years of experience in commercial graphics design
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Proficiency in animation software
- Photo and video editing
- Designing in both digital (social media, digital ads, website) and print material (brochures, guides, wayfinding signage)
- Tourism industry
- Using digital cameras and related equipment
- Using animation software
- Managing digital signage and wayfinding systems
