Full Stack Developer & UI/UX Designer (Mid-Level)

Full Stack Developer & UI/UX Designer role at a partner company, combining development and design skills for user-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and analyze feedback to inform design and development decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, maintaining design consistency via style guides and design systems
• Develop responsive and scalable applications using C# .NET, TypeScript, Angular, and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, QA testers, and architects to deliver integrated solutions
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Conduct usability testing, iterate on designs, and articulate design rationale to stakeholders
• Research and implement best practices, design patterns, and development strategies
• Contribute to project planning, providing level-of-effort estimates and technical recommendations

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility for IT-II security clearance or current NACLC; active Secret clearance preferred
• One of the approved 8570 Baseline Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in both UI/UX design and full stack development
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX/UI projects
• Proficiency in design tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma
• Prototyping tools: InVision, Marvel, Axure
• Expertise in HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Kendo UI, TypeScript, Angular), C# .NET, and ORM tools like ADO.NET and Entity Framework
• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
• Familiarity with responsive design principles, web/mobile standards, and front-end technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
