The WRL Graphic Designer will produce engaging, accessible, and brand-aligned design materials for the Western Renewables Link project. This includes collaborating with teams to translate complex information into clear visuals and managing multiple design tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce digital and print materials including fact sheets, infographics, presentations, signage, social media graphics, and landholder collateral.
- Ensure all materials are visually consistent with WRL and AusNet brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with communications advisors, engagement leads, and technical experts to translate complex content into accessible visual formats.
- Support the development and maintenance of WRL design templates and visual assets.
- Assist with layout and formatting of reports, newsletters, and other project documentation.
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of visual communication tools and processes.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in graphic design, visual communications, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in a design role, ideally within infrastructure, government, or community-facing projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create clear, engaging, and accessible design work.
- Experience designing for both print and digital formats.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
