Junior Graphic Designer (French speaking)

The Junior Graphic Designer will design high-impact static, video, and UGC creatives for paid media campaigns while managing the ad creation process. They will also conduct brand audits and competitive research to develop effective communication strategies.

Responsibilities

• Designing high-impact static, video and UGC creatives to help our customers gain competitive edge
• Owning the project management of our entire ad creation process
• Auditing the brand and products of our customers
• Conducting competitive research to identify our customers environment and draft creative best practices
• Collaborate with teams to develop and execute creative concepts that align with brand guidelines and business objectives
• Being on the constant lookout for new formats, hooks, scripts, and angles
• Participation in tech events and customer trainings to grow your skills and represent Welcome Tomorrow

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a creative agency or freelance work
• Ability to communicate, write and design creative assets in both French and English
• Mastery of Figma and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design principles
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles
• Creative problem solver with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive)
• Experience designing creatives for ad campaigns (ex: Meta, Google Ads)
• A portfolio of work showcasing your design & animation mindset and skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills to maintain customer relationships
• Permanent curiosity, sense of observation and repartee, a strong feel for advertising
• Understanding of performance-based marketing strategies
• Familiarity with new and traditional brand channels and media
