The Product Designer will lead product teams across multiple projects, defining UX/UI requirements and creating user experience strategies. They will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to bring products to life and resolve complex design challenges.
Responsibilities
- Work within a network of teams model.
- Lead product teams across multiple projects.
- Define the details of UX/UI requirements and size them appropriately.
- Create and deliver user experience strategies.
- Work with multi-discipline teams to bring products to life and overcome challenges.
- Explore and communicate design concepts using artefacts like userflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Run experiments to validate and iterate design concepts.
- Act as day-to-day discipline expert for resolving complex user experience and interface design problems.
- Strive to set and maintain product design standards and inspire customers.
- Mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of impactful UX/UI design work.
- Experience in leading or significantly contributing to all stages of the product design process.
- Deep understanding of design systems and principles.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Commitment to staying user-focused and leveraging research and data.
- Proven ability to contribute to or define UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
Key Skills
- Proven experience designing engaging, user-centered digital products with a strong portfolio.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in building and maintaining scalable design systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Proficiency in conducting and analyzing user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong grasp of Agile and Lean UX methodologies.
- Experience with behavioral psychology and data analytics.
- Ability to effectively present and justify design decisions using evidence-based approaches.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in UX/UI and digital product design.
