Product Designer

Envoy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design efforts for workplace technology solutions, focusing on creating intuitive and impactful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Projects: Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping, visual design, and final execution. Ensure that all designs meet both user needs and business objectives.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user behavior and needs deeply. Use these insights to inform and iterate on design solutions.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Act as a design advocate within cross-functional teams.
• Design System: Contribute to and maintain Envoy’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products and touchpoints.
• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to innovate and push the boundaries of what’s possible in workplace technology.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in SaaS B2B product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in product design, with an emphasis on mobile design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions that solve complex user problems and enhance user engagement.
• Proven experience in a hybrid designer–researcher role, demonstrating the ability to lead user research efforts and translate insights into impactful design solutions.
• Deep knowledge and focus on designing for both mobile apps and responsive web interfaces, utilizing platform-specific guidelines (iOS, Android, web), accessibility, and user behavior across devices.
• Expertise in design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles.
• Experience with design systems and a strong understanding of product design best practices.
• Strong foundation in accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, AA, AAA) and inclusive design principles, with experience designing products that are usable by people of all abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
