Design interfaces and interactions for AI-powered travel experiences, focusing on user behavior and multi-modal experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and trustworthy AI interactions for frequent business travelers.
Responsibilities
- Designing interfaces and interactions that go beyond UI, focusing on behavior, timing, and tone in multi-modal experiences
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to create best-in-class, AI-powered travel experiences
- Prototyping adaptive, contextual AI behaviors
- Driving the evolution of design language to support intelligent systems
- Collaborating closely with research, data science, and content design
- Advocating for user trust and transparency in AI design
- Contributing to and mentoring others in design practice
- Presenting work across disciplines and senior stakeholders
- Taking ownership from concept through execution to post-launch iteration
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing for consumer or B2C/B2B2C products, ideally with exposure to AI or dynamic, system-driven experiences
- Strong portfolio showcasing ability to design intuitive, elegant solutions from complex or emerging technologies
- Figma mastery
- Fascination with how people interact with technology, especially emerging modalities like AI, voice, or predictive systems
- Strong collaboration skills across disciplines, especially with data science and engineering
- Iterative mindset
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Bonus if worked in travel tech, hospitality, or logistics
- Motion design or animation skills are a strong plus
