Product Designer

Join Whatnot as a Product Designer to lead the design of end-to-end workflows and create user-centric experiences across high-impact surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, end-to-end product experiences across both user-facing and internal tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex problems and workflows into intuitive product experiences
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and final visuals that bring clarity to ambiguous problems
• Contribute to the broader design system while advocating for accessibility and inclusive user experiences
• Use data, research, and feedback to iterate on existing features and identify areas for improvement
• Help foster a strong design culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and improving team processes

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design
• Experience designing digital products, ideally including work on ecommerce or marketplace products
• Strong interaction and systems thinking
• Strong Portfolio that demonstrates your experience
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Protopie, Framer, etc.)
• Deep understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
