The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead the design strategy and execution for the platform, focusing on AI-enhanced design workflows. They will create intuitive interfaces that make complex workplace analytics accessible and actionable for customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive AI-enhanced design strategy: Lead design thinking and user experience strategy while exploring AI-assisted design workflows and tools to optimize design decisions and user insights
- Design insight communication experiences: Create intuitive interfaces that help users understand and act on workplace insights, making complex analysis accessible through clear information architecture and user flows
- Champion user-centered design: Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to understand complex workflow needs and translate insights into design solutions
- Build and evolve design systems: Establish and maintain design systems, component libraries, and design standards that scale across our web application and reporting features
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work seamlessly with product management and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and aligned with technical constraints
- Lead AI tooling adoption: Explore and implement AI-powered design tools to enhance productivity, generate design variations, and improve user research analysis
- Create compelling insight interfaces: Design user experiences that make workplace insights easy to understand and act upon, focusing on clear information hierarchy, intuitive navigation, and actionable interface design
- Prototype and iterate: Build interactive prototypes, conduct hands-on usability tests, and iterate based on user feedback and data to continuously improve user experiences
- Quality assurance mindset: Actively test and validate designs throughout development, catching edge cases and ensuring experiences work seamlessly across different scenarios and user flows
Requirements
- 4-6 years of professional UX/UI design experience in B2B software, SaaS platforms, or data-heavy applications with proven track record of shipping user-centered design solutions
- Design systems expertise: Strong experience building and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and design standards for web applications
- Insight communication mastery: Proven ability to design clear, intuitive interfaces that help users understand complex information and take action, with focus on information architecture and user flow design
- AI-curious mindset: Interest in AI-assisted design workflows and willingness to learn frameworks like AI-enhanced user research, automated design generation, or intelligent prototyping
- Expert proficiency in Figma including advanced features, component systems, auto-layout, and developer handover tools, with strong prototyping capabilities
- Hands-on testing approach: Willingness to roll up sleeves and actively test designs and experiences, conducting your own usability sessions, QA testing, and iterative design validation
- Meticulous attention to detail: Sharp eye for visual consistency, interaction details, edge cases, and ensuring pixel-perfect implementation across all design deliverables
- Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to balance user needs with business requirements and technical constraints
- Frontend development understanding: Strong grasp of frontend development constraints, responsive design principles, and CSS capabilities with experience in developer handover processes and design-to-code workflows
- Responsive design expertise: Expert-level skills in designing responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices with understanding of breakpoints, flexible layouts, and device-specific interactions
