Junior / Mid-level Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer will design compelling ads to drive awareness and conversion for clients. They will study design briefs, conceptualize visuals, and collaborate with team members to create branded marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and Create: Develop and execute high-quality visual content for a variety of digital and print media, including social media campaigns, display ads, landing pages, email newsletters, presentations, and product collateral.
- Brand Guardian: Ensure all visual assets are consistent with the brand guidelines for GrowthDesk, DREA, and SKALE, maintaining a cohesive and professional brand presence across all channels.
- Motion Graphics: Design and animate engaging short-form videos, GIFs, and other motion graphics for social media, website hero sections, and video ads.
- Visual Storytelling: Translate complex marketing concepts and data into clear, compelling, and visually appealing infographics and data visualisations.
- AI Integration: Explore and implement AI tools to streamline workflows, generate creative concepts, and assist in asset creation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their objectives and deliver design solutions that drive results.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a graphic design role, preferably within a fast-paced agency or in-house marketing team.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory, with a focus on digital-first design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Strongly Preferred: After Effects and Premiere Pro for motion graphics and video editing.
- Motion Graphics Skills: Demonstrated ability to create and animate motion graphics for various digital platforms.
- AI Knowledge: A curious mindset and a proactive interest in using AI tools to enhance design workflows and output.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly.
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing pixel-perfect work.
Key Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- After Effects and Premiere Pro (strongly preferred)
- AI tools (e.g., VEO, Flow, SORA, Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly)
- UX/UI principles and tools like Figma or Sketch (bonus)
- Experience with offline visual merchandising, exhibition booth design, or other event-based visual production (bonus)
