Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will lead and contribute to a diverse range of projects, ensuring high-quality visual assets that support learning. They will engage with stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful visuals and provide mentorship to junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for delivering high-quality, high-accuracy visual assets that support learning.
• Lead and manage the design process, ensuring deadlines are met and hand-overs are done clearly and timeously.
• Be accountable for ensuring stylistic consistency across multiple projects for the same client.
• Engage directly with stakeholders to gain clarity to translate ideas into impactful visuals.
• Provide mentorship, training, and upskilling support to junior designers.
• Assist with quality assurance and uphold design excellence across all projects.
• Partner with management to look for opportunities to innovate and pioneer new design approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (motion design, learning design, social media) to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong illustration and visual storytelling skills.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar digital design role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a digital-first or remote environment.
• Degree in a relevant field preferable.
• Must be eligible for employment in South Africa.
