The UX Researcher will work closely with product teams to identify and oversee UX research initiatives, using qualitative and quantitative methods to inform product strategy. They will synthesize research findings to generate actionable insights and promote user-centered design principles throughout the product development cycle.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product teams to identify and oversee UX research initiatives
- Establish, implement and oversee a research program
- Conduct in-depth interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies, usability testing, and other research methods
- Synthesize and analyze research findings to generate actionable insights
- Promote user-centered design principles throughout the product development cycle
- Communicate findings and present recommendations in engaging ways
- Mentor designers in conducting independent research
- Work closely with designers to contribute to the emerging design system
Requirements
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Knowledge of scholarly publishing and/or scientific research desirable
- Ability to work independently
- Related degree preferred
- Previous experience and a strong portfolio required
