User Experience (UX) Researcher

The User Experience (UX) Researcher will plan, design, and conduct both formative and evaluative research, engaging directly with educators and young people. They will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ensure research informs product design and development decisions.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing development of user personas and archetypes
- Plan and conduct qualitative, moderated interviews with a range of users
- Carry out unmoderated research, desk research, and analysis of quantitative data
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders
- Work closely with Product Designers to advocate for a user-centred approach
- Clearly communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders
- Share knowledge and promote best practice in user experience research
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working as a professional digital User Experience Researcher
- Understanding of best practice in qualitative and quantitative research
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of product design processes
- Experience of, or strong interest in, carrying out research with young people
- Experience of working collaboratively in a cross-functional team
- Experience of developing user personas
- Familiarity with using analytics tools
- Interest in education and creating engaging experiences for young people
