Lead UX Research initiatives and develop comprehensive research strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage a high-performing team and integrate AI tools into research workflows to enhance efficiency and insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX Research initiatives across the platform alongside the current Research Lead
- Execute comprehensive research strategies by implementing appropriate qualitative methods
- Drive user-centered design by proactively researching different user cohorts
- Demonstrate research expertise through proven competency in data analytics
- Create compelling presentations and collateral with masterful storytelling skills
- Provide leadership and mentorship by managing people to improve outcomes and build culture
- Collaborate with internal team to gather information about their requirements
- Ensure developed designs meet Best UX standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Design, HCI, Anthropology, or related field (Master's preferred) with 7+ years of UX research experience including 3+ years managing research teams of 4+ people in fast-paced technology environments
- Expert-level knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with research tools
- Experience with data analysis tools
- Knowledge of AI-powered research tools and machine learning applications in UX research workflows
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence product strategy through compelling research insights
- Coaching and developing research talent
- Managing cross-functional collaboration
- Building research operations including participant panels, recruitment processes, and insight repositories
- Experience with research ethics, privacy regulations, budget management, and understanding of prompt engineering and AI output evaluation
