Lead UX research initiatives for the Equipment Management workstream and conduct user interviews and usability testing. Collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders to communicate research findings and inform product development.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX research initiatives for the Equipment Management workstream.
- Conduct moderated and unmoderated user interviews and usability testing (e.g., via UserTesting.com).
- Design and administer surveys, and perform secondary research.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders in a dotted-line reporting structure.
- Present findings in a clear, professional format that highlights challenges and solutions.
- Engage with hard-to-reach user audiences and synthesize insights to inform product development.
- Self-initiate stakeholder meetings and onboarding conversations to understand the landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years of UX research experience (4+ preferred).
- Strong understanding of various UX research methodologies.
- Experience with both moderated and unmoderated testing, survey design, and secondary research.
- Familiarity with common UX tools; ability to quickly learn new platforms (e.g., Dovetail experience is a plus but not required).
- Experience in B2B environments is a plus.
- Comfortable working in software-focused environments (desktop and mobile apps).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams creating equipment management products.
