The UX Researcher is responsible for delivering insights to challenging questions in product and service design. This includes conducting user research, collaborating with various teams, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative user research
  • Lead recruiting and scheduling for various testing initiatives
  • Establish and promote user research methodologies, best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with product owners and the UX team to organize, facilitate and lead user research sessions
  • Organize, present, and defend research findings in compelling and creative ways
  • Collaborate with other researchers, designers, product managers and developers to resolve user issues
  • Prepare data collection materials, synthesize user research findings, create presentations, personas, task flows, and general documentation of research techniques and processes

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science or any other related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, test method selection and Agile methodology
  • Measurable experience in the integration of customer research into a business’s product design practice
  • Proficient with standard industry software and tools

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, LucidChart, Invision, LookBack, Participate
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail

  • Flexible
  • Good relationship and self-motivated to take on additional tasks under pressure
  • Strong ability to develop and extend brands across multiple platforms
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
