As a Mixed Methods UX Researcher, you will work with a collaborative team to conduct foundational and iterative research. You will own the qualitative and quantitative UXR roadmap and partner with stakeholders to impact product strategy and design.
Responsibilities
- Work with a collaborative and user-centric team to gather insights and drive product development.
- Own your qualitative and quantitative UXR roadmap for project areas with horizontal and vertical impact.
- Work with stakeholders to formulate research questions and impact product strategy and design through research/analyses.
- Create scalable frameworks to better understand users and their needs for your product team by visualizing user data.
- Develop insights to create useful, usable, and delightful new products and features for Googlers and continually innovate on existing products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in an applied research setting (e.g., product or academic).
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including usability testing, log analysis, and surveys.
- Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above) (preferred).
- 3 years of experience managing projects and working in a cross-functional organization (preferred).
- Experience in a variety of product spaces, applied research, or academic settings (preferred).
- Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact (preferred).
