A NYC-based AI startup is hiring a founding UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of their advanced, AI-powered platform for finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine end-to-end user experiences for complex financial workflows
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve usability
- Work on marketing design assets as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align product design with user needs and technical feasibility
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally with AI fintech products
- Understanding of financial workflows (e.g. investment banking, private equity)
- Strong command of design tools such as Figma
- Proven ability to conduct user research, build prototypes, and translate ideas into polished designs
- Portfolio demonstrating end to end design focused on fintech or AI powered products
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
