The Senior UI/UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative solutions for web and mobile platforms. They will lead the design process from research to high-fidelity visuals, ensuring user-centric designs that enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define and design innovative solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Lead end-to-end design processes including user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
- Translate complex workflows into clean, user-friendly UI/UX with a strong attention to detail.
- Use data and user insights to inform design decisions and validate ideas.
- Contribute to and help evolve Grubtech’s design system and brand guidelines.
- Advocate for design thinking across teams and champion a user-first approach in product development.
- Work in an agile product environment and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills, process, and user-centric designs.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other modern design tools.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, UX principles, and responsive UI design.
- Experience conducting or participating in user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to apply design thinking in day-to-day design work
Key Skills
- Experience designing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Experience working in food-tech, logistics, or restaurant tech.
- Motion design or micro-interaction skills.
