Lead the UX/UI design of mobile, web, or embedded interfaces for connected hardware products. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align design vision with product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI design of mobile, web, or embedded interfaces for connected hardware products.
- Translate user research, product goals, and technical constraints into elegant user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
- Champion design best practices across the organization while mentoring junior designers and advocating for a consistent user experience.
- Integrate AI-powered features, personalization, and intelligent user experiences into product design.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, QA) to align design vision with product roadmap.
- Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and customer feedback sessions to inform design decisions.
- Create and maintain design systems, visual guidelines, and interaction patterns that scale across products and platforms.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback, technical feasibility, and product needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with at least 2 years working on interfaces tied to hardware or consumer electronics.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing user-centered design, visual aesthetics, and AI-enhanced experiences across mobile, web, and/or embedded platforms.
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma.
- Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum product development environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
