The role involves assisting the Product Team in building and shipping new features for the product, gathering user research, and designing prototypes. Additionally, the intern will contribute to customer support, QA testing, and marketing asset design.
Responsibilities
- Delivering on our roadmap by assisting in the building and shipping of new features for our constantly evolving product
- Gathering qualitative and quantitative user research
- Wireframing and writing specifications for new features
- Designing prototypes and high fidelity UI mockups
- Contributing to the launch of new features including writing documentation
- Dealing with customer support queries
- Helping with QA testing of new features
- Contributing to UX research
- User testing
- Contributing in and helping set up design workshops
- Helping our Marketing team by contributing to the design of marketing assets
Requirements
- A portfolio showcasing a proven aptitude for UI/UX design with a minimum of 3 UI/UX web projects
- Design flair and proven UI/UX execution experience
- Interest in learning the product inside out
- Interest in SaaS product design
- Currently studying or having attained at least degree level in a relevant field
- Knowledge of modern productivity tools: Teamwork, Jira, Clickup
- Knowledge of modern design tools: Figma, Illustrator, Canva etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge in UX research
- Knowledge in UX and UI design for web apps
- Curiosity and the ability to be a team player with a growth mindset
