Lead UI/UX Designer Knowt (2025)

The Lead UI/UX Designer will collaborate with the CEO and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements, creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. They will design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms while conducting user research and usability testing to iterate on designs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CEO, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Ensure consistency in design language, branding, and user experience across all platforms and features.
- Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing support and clarification as needed.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design critiques to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of design systems, pattern libraries, and documentation.
- Advocate for the user throughout the design process, championing user-centric design principles and accessibility standards.
Requirements
- PREFER APPLICANTS IN THE UNITED STATES
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing projects related to UI/UX design, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic prototyping and communication with developers (this is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
