Design user interfaces for software applications while ensuring a high-quality user experience. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and conduct user research to refine designs.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for software applications developed using Microsoft technologies, ensuring a high-quality user experience
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints
- Utilize current UX/UI design tools and methodologies to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs
- Ensure designs are accessible and responsive across various devices and platforms
- Present and defend design decisions to diverse teams, including technical and non-technical members
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the UI/UX design field
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in current UX/UI design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of best practices in accessibility and responsive design
- Familiarity with software development processes and the ability to work closely with technical teams
- A creative thinker who is open to feedback and continuous improvement
