Senior UX/UI Product Designer (Remote - US)

A Senior UX/UI Product Designer is needed to lead the design of accessible and impactful digital products in a mission-driven, user-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design processes including research, ideation, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop and refine innovative product initiatives
• Conduct user research independently and with researchers to inform design decisions and validate product concepts
• Create mockups and high-fidelity prototypes that ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across products
• Maintain and evolve the company's design system, advocating for best practices and standards organization-wide
• Translate user insights and data into actionable product features and enhancements
• Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards, and inclusive design methodologies, integrating them into products

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, user research, and prototyping with a proven record of launching digital products
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, UX, or a related field
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience conducting usability testing and translating insights into actionable design decisions
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and contributing to a comprehensive design system
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and iterative design approaches
• Preferred Experience designing for educational technology or accessibility-focused products
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Prior experience in mission-driven organizations or non-profits
