Lead the full design lifecycle for a key product area, from initial research and strategy to high-fidelity design and iterative improvements post-launch. Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to define product strategy and deliver on both user and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full design lifecycle for a key product area, from initial research and strategy to high-fidelity design and iterative improvements post-launch.
- Conduct user research to uncover deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Design and prototype detailed user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to define product strategy and deliver on both user and business goals.
- Be the voice of the user, clearly articulating design rationale and managing feedback cycles with key stakeholders.
- Leverage data and analytics to inform design decisions and strategically prioritize improvements.
- Champion and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the growth and visibility of the design team.
- Stay current with the latest UX trends and technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing successful, user-centered design solutions for complex applications.
- A deep understanding of UX, visual, and interaction design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
- Proven ability to plan and execute both qualitative and quantitative user research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in workshop facilitation in both remote and in-person environments.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical work experience.
