Responsibilities
- Influence strategy for your product team, identifying opportunities for impact in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional peers.
- Apply research methodology to empathise with customer challenges and develop an intimate knowledge of the problem being solved.
- Leverage AI prototyping to explore conceptual ideas and bring them to life with functional flows.
- Craft high-fidelity user interfaces with flair at velocity, maintaining quality and delivering at speed.
- Lead compelling vision initiatives for your team and domain, influencing and visualising the direction-of-travel and opportunities for innovation.
- Solve problems holistically with systems-thinking, ensuring scalability and avoiding unnecessary variation.
- Communicate persuasively, weaving storytelling narratives around your work and triaging feedback efficiently.
- Collaborate transparently in the open, sharing work with the wider organisation to solicit feedback and identify opportunities for cross-domain collaboration.
- Advocate usage of the design system Norma, understanding when to follow it strictly or deviate, improve and contribute back.
- Champion experience principles by ensuring simplicity, usability, scalability and accessibility in all user experiences.
- Be an active member of the cross-functional culture by advocating quality, shaping ways of working and providing peer support.
Requirements
- Impressive portfolio of product design work demonstrating maturity across the end-to-end design process.
- Persuasive communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
- Systems thinking and ability to autonomously take ownership of design for complex domains and/or multiple projects.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering counterparts.
- Experience designing complex B2B SaaS solutions for industries like HRTech, FinTech (preferred).
- Embodies and demonstrates Remote's core values.
